Peck advocates mobilize support A petition was circulated in the South Side neighborhood last weekend by an advocacy group asking city commissioners to keep family services in the Peck Community Center just as they are. County belatedly adopts land use planning report The Nassau County Commission has adopted a land use planning report. The Evaluation and Appraisal Report, prepared by the Growth Management Department, was due in Tallahassee on Dec. 1 but had been stalled due to staffing limitations and requests for revisions from the Planning and Zoning Board. Voters may be asked to decide bond issue Nassau County voters may be asked in November to approve a bond issue to pay for land purchases along the St. Marys River. |
